I wrote this song a couple weeks after our good friend and former bandmate Phil Pollard left this world unexpectedly last year. Phil was the kind of guy who would randomly text "love you" at 7:30 in the morning. He had a great big heart and we all loved him dearly. After his passing, many friends were brought together and many people were left wanting to try to be a bit more like Phil.
